FAQ
WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED, AND CAN I VISIT?
My studio is in San Francisco and is open to the public twice a year during San Francisco Open Studios. You can find details on the exhibitions page. To visit outside of those times, please contact me to schedule an appointment.
WHERE DO YOU SHOW AND SELL YOUR WORK?
I sell my work directly through my San Francisco studio, my website, and through galleries and art exhibitions. Visit the exhibitions page for current and upcoming shows.
DO YOU ACCEPT COMMISSIONS?
It depends on the scope of the project. Please contact me to discuss your project.
CAN YOU CREATE A PIECE IN A SPECIFIC SIZE?
Yes. Many of my designs can be scaled up or down for a site-specific project. Please contact me to discuss dimensions and details.
DO YOU HELP CLIENTS WITH SELECTION AND PLACEMENT?
Yes. For collectors in the San Francisco Bay Area, I offer limited art-placement assistance and short-term loans to see how a piece works in your space. For collectors outside the Bay Area, if you provide images of your space, I can create a digital mock-up to help visualize the work.
WHAT METALS DO YOU WORK WITH?
My primary materials are steel and bronze.
WILL MY PIECE CHANGE OVER TIME OR RUST?
All of my sculptures are sealed with a protective coating. Steel pieces kept indoors and away from moisture should not rust. Outdoors, steel may naturally patina or change over time, which many collectors appreciate. Bronze pieces will not rust; if kept indoors, the patina may darken slightly, and outdoors it may change gradually.
DO YOU SHIP AND/OR DELIVER?
Yes. Please contact me for shipping or delivery quotes.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
All sales are final. If a piece is shipped and arrives damaged, please contact me within seven days of delivery to arrange a repair or replacement. Commission deposits are non-refundable.
WHY METAL?
From the first time I welded, I was drawn to the process. I love transforming a hard, heavy material into something that feels light and fluid. Working with fire, tools, and texture allows me to explore both strength and delicacy in the same form, and I enjoy the endless possibilities of the material.
