I was commissioned to create a sculptural screen to serve as a divider between the hostess stand and main dining area at Gravity Tavern in Mill Valley, California.

Ode to the Double Bow Knot is inspired by the historic Mt. Tamalpais Gravity Car Railroad. The sculpture depicts its most famous and winding curve — the Double Bow Knot — while the horizon line across the top reflects the distinctive silhouette of Mt. Tamalpais, replicated from early 1900s film footage
