Commissioned as a retirement gift for a law firm partner, Baldini Bird was inspired by one of his favorite inside jokes about a mythical creature that “flies in an ever-decreasing circle until it eventually disappears.” He often used the phrase to describe difficult or unsolvable problems that seemed to spiral endlessly. This sculpture translates that whimsical idea into bronze, capturing both the humor and the insight behind it.
